Hello ~ Holika Holika

Hello! I'm going to put this out there before I start with anything. I'm a very random person and I jump all over the place, but I am going to try to stay focus. Mostly I'll be blogging about Korean beauty and skin care products and maybe here and there about some of my hobbies – which isn't a lot.

Today, I'm going to be talking about the Holika Holika Aqua Fantasy Whitening Toner and Whitening Cream. These two comes in a very cute tear drop shape bottle (the toner remind me of those lava lights). The toner bottle is taller while the cream comes in a shorter and stubby bottle. There is a whole set of this Aqua Fantasy Whitening product. There are the toner, essentializer and the cream, well I thought there were more but I guess there are three but I decided to just go with the toner and the cream. I wanted to keep it simple.

Before I start let me just say that I don't have sensitive skin, mostly oily in the T-zone, especially my nose. I also am a major fan of perfume and don't mind too much of the flowery scent of my products. With this being said, Holika Holika Aqua Fantasy Whitening has a perfume scent to this product. Now don't get confuse with their other Aqua Fantasy set, which comes in the same bottle shape only that they're blue not this white/silvery bottle. I don't know if they regular Aqua Fantasy has a scent but I quite like the smell of this whitening one. Its light and flowy, almost like a sweet whip cream smell but at the same time baby fresh, therefore it's not a strong smell. To me it's just perfect.

I can't express how cute these two are, especially the toner. Very mystical looking. There are these light fog or what the box calls it, “special aurora” that swirls as you lightly shake the bottle and it just makes the whole facial care thing extra fun. I've been using these two for about two months now and I really like it. I've noticed that my skin is a lot lighter and a lot moist. Also my skin has not only lightened but it is doing it's job as a toner too, toning my skin wonderfully.
The whitening cream is much thicker than I thought it would be, the texture almost look chunky but it's not. It's almost like a thick moose kind of texture and it goes on smoothly onto my skin.

This is my first time using a Korean skin care product and when I bought it I thought it was very interesting what it said on the box.

“Fantastic moisture & whitening care with aqua energy of wonderland where those one icebergs and hot bring water.”

On the side of the toner box it says,

“Special aurora whitening Toner provides 20% Iceland glacial water and hot spring water.”

While the box for the cream says,

“Snow flakes whitening cream provides 60% Iceland glacial water and hot spring water.”

I mean how interesting and cool is this. With me being a fantasy freak, these description sounds absolutely like something I would read/watch if they were a book or a movie. (I'm not kidding)

There was no irritation, redness or breakout for me after using this. This product did it's job and I think I'm going to continue using this toner and cream, maybe even add in their other family members.
